Elmer's tradition of outstanding customer service and unexcelled quality, began in 1956 when Elmer Schaub provided his clients with excavation, earth moving and crane services. Through dedication to doing the job right, Elmer expanded his company to seven heavy equipment operators/truck drivers. In 1978, current owner Russell "Butch" Broad and family purchased Elmer's. In 1981 Gary Holcombe joined together with Butch and began to expand the business with the same attention to detail that the company was originally founded on. Today, Elmer's has grown to include surveying, engineering, earth moving and site preparation, underground services, aggregate production, crane/rigging,concrete, asphalt (commercial & residential), milling, restoration, snowplowing and more.
